3 Reasons Why You Won’t Want to Miss
AFRE’s 2009 Best Practices Workshops
- New math, science and language arts standards make
training in curriculum mapping, unit planning and lesson planning
“mission critical.”
- School and district leaders around the state have
credited AFRE’s Best Practices training for improving the
quality of their schools and raising student achievement.
- You can try before you buy. Send a “scout”

Best Practices Workshops and Academies
AFRE's Best Practices workshops and academies are designed
to help teachers and administrators implement research-validated
"best practices" and the most promising strategies for improving
their schools and ultimately increasing student achievement. These
workshops are ideal for teachers, campus and district
administrators, and professional development specialists.
By popular demand, AFRE is offering four new 2-day
workshops during the Fall 2008 semester and again during the
Spring 2009 semester. Participants will learn what it takes to
create and sustain a higher-performing classroom and campus. They
will engage in a variety of many hands-on activities to reinforce
their new knowledge and skills and to develop classroom and campus
plans to implement back in their professional setting. These
fee-based workshops are open to all of Arizona's teachers and
administrators.
For a personalized professional development experience,
consider bringing AFRE to your campus or your district. Our custom-designed workshops can
meet your specific instructional needs and calendar. AFRE offers
Best Practices workshops on more
than a dozen topics.
