Make It Happen in Your School
Note: 2008-2009 teams were
selected in August. If interested in this program, watch for
announcements in the spring!
Do you have a great idea for improving student achievement
in your classroom or school, but don’t have the time or
resources to implement it during the academic year?
Now you can make it happen!
AFRE's "Make It Happen" Educator Support Program provides
teams of Arizona K-12 educators with the resources that they need
to implement the knowledge and skills that they gain at
AFRE’s summer academies.
Teams of two to five educators from your school are
encouraged to develop an action research study that details how
their learning can be used to address a specific problem or
challenge in their classroom or on their campus.
Each member of the selected teams will receive up to $5,000
in support during the academic year, including:
- Additional professional development training
- Funds for substitute teachers
- Funds for classroom resources
- Regularly scheduled on-campus coaching
- Cash awards for individual team members

teams will be selected.
