Their support enables us to offer free, on-site expeditionary learning experiences so that teachers can talk to experts in the field and see for themselves the enormous role that Arizona’s natural resources play in adding quality to our daily lives.

In addition, teachers learn of career opportunities and the required knowledge and skills their students will need to prepare for these jobs.

Our free AZventure workshops provide a forum in which a broad spectrum of information representing diverse perspectives is presented. Through these experiences, teachers learn first-hand how to help students develop sound, independent thinking and problem-solving skills — as well as an appreciation of Arizona’s natural environment.
